PLUMBING NOT MAINTAINED IN THE BASEMENT: OBSERVED AN OPEN SITE FLOOR DRAIN IN THE BASEMENT WHERE WASTE WATER DRAINS FROM THE 2-COMPARTMENT SINK (USED FOR PREP) AND THE EXPOSED HAND SINK (LOCATED TO THE RIGHT OF THE 2-COMPARTMENT SINK) IS NOT PROPERLY DRAINING. OBSERVED WATER SETTLING IN THE OPEN SITE DRAIN RATHER THAN PROPERLY DRAINING ADEQUATELY IN BETWEEN USE. WHEN BOTH THE 2-COMPARTMENT SINK AND EXPOSED HAND SINK ARE RUNNING WATER AT THE SAME TIME, THE WATER SPEWS OUT ONTO THE FLOOR FROM THE OPEN SITE FLOOR DRAIN. INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT A PLUMBER TO REPAIR SINK TO PROVIDE PROPER DRAINAGE AT ALL TIMES AND MAINTAIN. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-030
