OBSERVED THE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK FAUCET BASE LEAKING. INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR AND MAINTAIN ALL PLUMBING.
OBSERVED NO EXPOSED HANDSINK INSTALLED IN THE REAR WHERE DISHES ARE WASHED, RINSED AND SANITIZED. INSTRUCTED TO INSTALL AN EXPOSED HAND SINK FOR THE REAR DISHROOM.
OBSERVED THE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK MISSING A DRAIN PLUG. INSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN ALL 3 DRAIN PLUGS.
NO INSPECTION REPORT SUMMARY WAS POSTED ON THE PREMISES. MANAGEMENT WAS GIVEN A COPY OF TODAY'S INSPECTION SUMMARY REPORT AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO POST IT IN VIEW OF ALL CUSTOMERS. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-42-010B
OBSERVED DRAIN STOPPERS MISSING FROM THE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE 3 DRAIN STOPPERS.
COUNTER TOP AT FRONT AREA (WHERE THE SMALL OVENS SIT) MUST BE RE-SEALED/VARNISHED, TO MAKE THIS SURFACE SMOOTH/EASILY CLEANABLE. All food and non-food contact equipment and utensils shall be smooth, easily cleanable, and durable, and shall be in good repair.
FOLLOWING NEED CLEANING: FAN GUARDS OF SMALL COOLERS, VENTS OF DELI CASE (SELF-SERVICE), PIPE UNDER PREP SINK AT WEST WALL AREA. All food and non-food contact surfaces of equipment and all food storage utensils shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily.
FLOORS ALONG WALLBASES UNDER SINKS & REAR DRY STORAGE SHELVES MUST BE KEPT FREE OF DEBRIS/DIRT. The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair.
LEAK AT BOTTOM PIPE OF HANDSINK MUST BE FIXED. Ventilation: All plumbing fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, washbasins, etc., must be adequately trapped, vented, and re-vented and properly connected to the sewer in accordance with the plumbing chapter of the Municipal Code of Chicago and the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Health.
