EVIDENCE OF RODENT ACTIVIY OBSERVED IN THE BASEMENT. OBSERVED APPROX. 30 RAT DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR OF THE BASEMENT. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE AFFECTED AREAS. ADDTIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS RECOMMENDED. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-020.

All food and non-food contact surfaces of equipment and all food storage utensils shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily. DETAIL CLEAN OR REPLACE MICROWAVE. DETAIL CLEAN VENTILATION HOOD (GREASE) AND SIDE OF DEEP FRYER (GREASE).

The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. OBSERVED BROKEN FLOOR TILES THROUGHOUT THE PREP AREA. MUST REPLACE BROKEN FLOOR TILES. OBSERVED OPENINGS IN THE BASEMENT FLOOR NEAR THE HVAC SYSTEM. INSTRCUTED MANAGEMENT TO FILL IN OPENINGS WITH CONCRETE.

The walls and ceilings shall be in good repair and easily cleaned. DETAIL CLEAN AND REPAINT WALLS AND CEILING OF PREP AREA. OBSERVED OPENINGS IN BRICK WALLS IN BASEMENT. MUST FILL IN HOLES TO PREVENT RODENT ENTRY.

All parts of the food establishment and all parts of the property used in connection with the operation of the establishment shall be kept neat and clean and should not produce any offensive odors. REMOVE EXCESSIVE CLUTTER IN THE BASEMENT, ESPECIALLY THE WOOD PILES AGAINST THE WALL.
