Observed food not protected at the breakfast buffet: observed six jars of various toppings (sugar, nuts, raisins, etc) for oatmeal uncovered and observed ice for human consumption in a large open bowl without a lid or cover. Facility removed all items during inspection. Instructed facility to adequately shield/protect all food items at all times and to maintain. Serious violation 7-38-005(a).
Observed doors not tight fitting: observed a quarter inch gap along the bottom corners of both overhead garage doors in the garbage loading area. Also observed the customer entrance in the underground garage area to have a quarter inch gap along the entire bottom of the door. Instructed facility to repair and maintain all doors tight fitting.
