OBSERVED NO CONVENIENT HAND SINKS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY EMPLOYEES IN THE DISH WASHING AREA. INSTRUCTED MANAGER TO INSTALL ADDITIONAL HAND WASHING SINK WITH APPROPRIATELY PLUMBED HOT AND COLD WATER UNDER CITY PRESSURE, SOAP, AND PAPER TOWELS AT THE DISHWASHING AREA. HANDWASHING SINKS MUST BE CONVIENIENTLY LOCATED AND ACCESSIBLE, AND TO BE USED SOLEY FOR HAND WASHING. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION, 7-38-030(c).

OBSERVED VARIOUS BOXES STORED ON THE FLOOR IN THE BASEMENT DRY STORAGE AREA. STACKS FROM FLOOR TO CEILING IN CENTER OF ROOM AND ALONG ALL WALLS. INSTRUCTED TO ELEVATE OFF THE FLOOR AT LEAST 6 INCHES.
OBSERVED WOOD USED BELOW THREE COMPARTMENT SINK GREASE TRAP AT TIME OF INSPECTION. INSTRUCTED MANAGER TO REPLACE WITH A SMOOTH, EASILY CLEANABLE, AND NON ABSORBENT SHELF.
OBSERVED NO SANITIZING TEST STRIPS (QUAT) AVAILABLE FOR THREE COMPARTMENT SINK. INSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION, 7-38-005.
OBSERVED THE FRONT PREP/DUMP SINK TO BE INSTALLED WITH ONLY COLD WATER AVAILABLE AT TIME OF INSPECTION. ONLY COLD WATER TURNS ON WHEN HANDLE IS TURNED ON IN ANY DIRECTION. INSTRUCTED MANAGER THAT THE PLUMBING SYSTEM AND ALL SINKS MUST HAVE AN ADEWUATE SUPPLY OF HOT AND COLD WATER UNDER CITY PRESSURE THROUGHOUT THE RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. INSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE HOT WATER AT THE PREP SINK, PER CITY CODE. PRIORITY VIOLATION, 7-38-030(c).
OBSERVED NO BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE ON THE WATER DISPENSER AT THE FRONT PREP AREA NEXT TO THE HADN SINK. INSTRUCTED MANAGER TO PROVIDE A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE FOR THE WATER DISPENSER/HEATER.
OBSERVED ESTABLISHMENT WITHOUT A MOP SINK. INSTRUCTED THE PERSON IN CHARGE TO INSTALL A MOP SINK FOR THE CLEANING OF MOPS OR SIMILAR WET FLOOR CLEANING TOOLS AND THE DISPOSAL OF MOP WATER AND SIMILAR LIQUID WASTE AND MAINTAIN. FACILITY CURRENTLY HAS A SHOWER STALL WITH A SHOWER HEAD IN THE BASEMENT.
OBSERVED THREE COMPARTMENT SINK TO NOT DRAIN AND CAUSE A BACK UP OF WASTE WATER INTO THE BASIN OF THE OTHER TWO (2) BASINS, REGARDLESS OF WHICH SINK BASIN IS FILLED WITH WATER. INSTRUCTED MANAGER TO SERVICE THREE (3) COMPARTMENT SINK DRAIN/GREASE TRAP TO ENSURE WASTE WATER IS NOT BACKING UP THROUGH ANY DRAINS, AND THAT ALL WASTE WATER IS EFFECTIVELY DISPOSED. PRIORITY VIOLATION, 7-38-030(c).
OBSERVED TWO (2) BATHROOMS WITHOUT A SELF CLOSING DOOR AT TIME OF INSPECTION. INSTRUCTED MANAGER TO PROVIDE A SELF CLOSING DOOR FOR EACH BATHROOM.
OBSERVED NO COMMERCIAL DUMPSTER OR REFUSE CONTAINER ON SITE AT TIME OF INSPECTION. MANAGER STATED THEY WILL BE USING THE BUILDING'S SHARED TRASH; HOWEVER, UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTATION SUPPORTING THIS. INSTRUCTED MANAGER THAT ALL RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS MUST MAINTAIN/HAVE ACESS TO AT LEAST ONE COMMERCIAL DUMPSTER WITH COMMERCIAL REFUSE REMOVAL. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION, 7-38-020(b).
