Observed rust stains and chipped paint on exterior surface of both wire shelving units underneath 3 compartment sink and next to hand sink. Informed manager that all surfaces must be smooth and easily cleanable. Instructed manager to remove rust and chipped paint, reseal surface and or replace. Observed food handler with long hair pulled through hat/hair restraint, however, pony tail was resting on shoulders and lower back area, in prep area. Informed manager that hair must be placed securely inside hair restraint, to prevent possible contamination. Maintain at all times.
